Abstract This study was undertaken to investigate influence of COVID 19 pandemic on health educators ’ job commitment in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state . The study employed descriptive survey design. The population was 77 health educators in the four Federal and State Colleges of Education in Delta State. The researcher sampled the entire 77 teachers because of their fewness. The instrument for the investigation was titled “Influence of Covid 19 Pandemic on Health educators’ Job Commitment Questionnaire (ICHLJCQ?. On the whole, the worth of Pearson Product Moment Correlational Coefficient (r) for COVID 19 pandemic was 0.77. Out of entire copies of 77 instruments administered, 75 instruments were retrieved. Male health educators was 53 and female health educators 22. The descriptive data of mean rating and standard deviation were employed to respond to the 5 research questions. Mean rating of 2.50 was assumed as the significant level of receipt as mean rating below 2.50 was discarded. z - test was employed to test the 5 null hypotheses formulated that direct the investigation at 0.05 levels of significance. Findings showed that influence of COVID 19 pandemic on health educators’ job commitment in Federal and State owned Colleges of Education in Delta State was high. Influence of utilisation of prevention, college support on the utilisation of prevention against COVID 19 pandemic and health educator’s job commitment in Federal and State owned Colleges of Education in Delta State was low. The level of awareness of utilisation of preventions against COVID 19 pandemic ,the level of utilisation of preventions against COVID 19 pandemic on health educators ’ job commitment in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state was low . There was no significant difference on influence of COVID 19 pandemic , utilisation of prevention against COVID 19 pandemic , College support , level of awareness and level of utilisation of preventions against COVID 19 pandemic on health educators ’ job commitment in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state. It was concluded in the study that there was no significant difference on influence of COVID 19 pandemic, utilisation of prevention against COVID 19 pandemic, College support the level of awareness of utilisation of preventions against COVID 19 pandemic and level of utilisation of preventions against COVID 19 pandemic on health educators ’ job commitment in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta State. It was as well recommended that commitment should be shown on prevention of COVID 19 pandemic by health educators in Federal and State owned Colleges of Education in Delta State . Health educators should enhance their commitment to prevention of COVID 19 pandemic to enhance their job commitment in Federal and State owned Colleges of Education in Delta State.

Abstract This study was undertaken to investigate utilisation of preventive measures in avoidance of COVID 19 pandemic among health educators in federal and state owned colleges of education in delta state. The study made use of descriptive survey design. The population was 77 health educators in the four Federal and State Colleges of Education in Delta State. The entire 77 health educators in the four Federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state were used in the study because of their fewness. The instruments used in the study were instrument titled “Utilisation of Preventive Measures in Avoidance of Covid 19 Pandemic Questionnaire (UPMACPQ)”. From the 77 copies of the questionnaires administered, 73 copies were retrieved. Male health educators were 51 and female health educators were 22. In terms of experienced, 49 experienced health educators were used while 24 inexperienced health educators were as well used in the investigation. Mean rating and standard deviation were utilised to answer the six research questions. z test was employed to test the two null hypotheses created to guide the investigation at 0.05 levels of significance. Findings showed that the forms of preventive measures for avoidance of COVID 19, factors responsible for utilisation of preventive measures against COVID 19 pandemic, the consequences of COVID 19 pandemic, the management strategies that can be employed to encourage the utilisation of preventive measures against COVID 19 pandemic among health educators in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state were high as the ratings were high. The difference between male and female health educators, experienced and inexperienced Health educators on the Utilisation of Preventive Measures against COVID 19 pandemic in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state were high as the ratings were high. There was no significant difference between male and female health educators, experienced and inexperienced health educators on the utilisation of preventive measures in the period of COVID 19 pandemic among health educators in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state. It was concluded that The forms of preventive measures for avoidance of COVID 19 pandemic, the factors responsible for utilisation of preventive measures against COVID 19 pandemic, the consequences of COVID 19 pandemic, the management strategies that can be employed to encourage the utilisation of preventive measures against COVID 19 pandemic among health educators in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state was high. The difference between male and female, experienced and inexperienced Health educators on the Utilisation of Preventive Measures against COVID 19 pandemic in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state was high. Male and female , Experienced and inexperienced health educators do not differ significantly on the utilisation of preventive measures in the period of COVID 19 pandemic among health educators in federal and state owned colleges of education in Delta state. It was recommended in the study that the college of Education administrators that should organise the required enlightenment plans in order to offer current data and convey the finest practice to control the COVID-19 infection. Training should be offered for the health educators by the Colleges of Education authorities on procedures to avert COVID 19 in their job performance

Abstract This study examined Delta State public secondary students' views on genital mutilation and related health problems. The study design was a descriptive survey. Delta State public secondary schools had 11311 SS11 pupils in 2021/2022. 1131 Delta State public secondary school SS11 female pupils were sampled. The study employed the "Female Students Perception on Genital Mutilation and Related Health Issues Questionnaire" (FSPGMHQ). 1121 of 1131 administered instruments were recovered, 0.99%—631 urban and 490 rural SS11 girls. Mean rating and standard deviation answered the four research questions. Delta State public secondary school girls have high rates of health-related female genital mutilation. Female genital mutilation among Delta State public secondary school girls with health difficulties was common. Delta State, public secondary school girls have significant rates of genital mutilation related to health reasons. The health effects of female genital mutilation on Delta State public secondary school girls and their treatment techniques were high. There was no significant difference between urban and rural students on management strategies of female genital mutilation that have adverse health effects in public secondary schools in Delta State. However, there was a significant difference between young and old SS11 female students. The study found that urban and rural students on management techniques of female genital mutilation that have adverse health effects among female students in public secondary schools in Delta State do not differ, and young and old SS11 female students do not differ. The report also proposed banning female genital mutilation for lack of merit and holding seminars, workshops, and lectures to raise parents' awareness of its harmful effects on girls.

Abstract The study examined stress management in senior Delta State civil service retirees from 2011 to 2020 using the "Stress management Strategies among Elderly Persons Questionnaire" (SMSEPQ). The survey sampled 1,015 senior retirees between 2011 and 2020, with 50% leaving the state between 2011 and 2020. The study found that 1,001 of the 1.015 questionnaires were recovered, with a mean rating of 0.99%. The research found that senior Delta State civil service retirees handled stress effectively, with highrated retirees needing stress management. However, insufficient stress management affected senior retirees differently by gender between 2011 and 2020. The study suggests that senior Delta State public sector retirees should adapt to better stress management strategies. The report encourages senior retirees to manage stress effectively and adapt to their challenges.
